Link School in Noisy-le-Sec
This year, we have continued our link with teacher Francine and pupils from the École Sainte Croix in Noisy-le-Sec, France. We regularly share work with them and collaborate on projects together.
Children from our Years 4-6 all have penfriends from the CM1 and CM2 classes and we have been exchanging letters and cards to find out more about each other and to learn about our customs and traditions. Here are some of the Year 5 children looking pleased after receiving their Happy New Year (Bonne Année) cards and kings’ crowns to celebrate the Epiphany on January 6th (La Fête des Rois).
We have recently sent our French friends some Easter cards and information about our local area and we are waiting with excitement for our next package to arrive from them!
We currently hold the British Council's full International School Award which celebrates our commitment to international work across the curriculum. We are ambassadors for the award and have helped other schools in applying for accreditation. Next year, we will be going for re-accreditation of the award. For more information about our international work, please see our separate class pages and the Spanish Club section of the website.
