We've all worked hard to ensure that our curriculum continues to offer a global dimension and that an international ethos is celebrated across the school. Friendship and collaboration with our French link school, Ecole Sainte-Croix in Noisy-le-Sec, has gone from strength to strength and we have continued to support local schools on their international journey. We have recently submitted our application for re-accreditation of the British Council's International School Award. Activities we put forward for the award were:
1) The Arts - Art, Music and Dance from around the world
2) Books from around the World
3) Faiths, Festivals and Customs
4) Our Local Area
5) Our Beautiful World
6) Ancient Civilisations
7) World War
8) The World Cup
Check out our class pages to find out more and to see our wonderful children enjoying their learning from some of these activities!
This year, we have continued our link with teacher Francine and pupils from the École Sainte Croix in Noisy-le-Sec, France. We regularly share work with them and collaborate on projects together.
We have recently sent our French friends some Easter cards and information about our local area and we are waiting with excitement for our next package to arrive from them!
