International Work

Learn more about our International work in our Class Pages and Gallery
Last year, we formed a link with a French school, Ecole Sainte Croix, in Noisy-le-Sec, near Paris. This year we have been strenghtening the link.

All pupils in Year 4/5 and 5/6 have penpals with pupils from the link school and have received letters and cards in French. We were very impressed by their lovely handwriting! Through the letters, we are currently learning about festivals and traditions in each other's country as well as finding out more about each other.

Here are some of the pupils from Year 4/5 who were very happy to receive their Christmas cards and letters from France.
We are planning to do some more collaborative projects with our French link school in order to learn from each other. We are going to create and share presentations of Newcastle and Paris to find out more about where we live and also make and share short films about our healthy school dinners.

This year we are applying for the International School Award. Watch this space.
