Sport Premium Funding

Physical Education

At St Bede’s RC Primary School, our aim is to ensure that all children enjoy Physical Education and Sport.  Through Physical Education, we aim to develop the children’s knowledge, skills and understanding, so that they can perform with increasing competence and confidence in a range of physical activities.  We aim to improve health and well-being, promote active participation and lifelong learning and we aim for each child to fulfil their potential.

What is the Sport Premium Funding?

Up until the academic year 2019/2020, the Government is making available a sum of money to all schools (annually) to allow them to develop sports provision within their school.  Each individual primary school is able to determine what they believe to be the most appropriate use of this funding.

Please see below to find out what the Sport Premium funding has been used for so far in our school.

What is the Sport Premium funding being used for in our school and what impact will it have?
