Community Week: On Sunday 25th September our First Holy Communion children were welcomed into the parish family as they commenced their programme. During the week, we all came together to celebrate our enjoyment of maths. Jane Fisher, a manager from 3P Learning awarded some children with Mathlete badges because they had earned a gold certificate in Mathletics. Year 6 worked with their Reception Buddies throughout the week and they found out lots of interesting information about them! Reception Parents were invited to share a school meal with their children. On Friday 30th September our Year 6 children welcomed their Reception buddies to our school community in a lovely assembly. Lots of parents came to see them all. Afterwards, lots of other parents and parishioners joined us for our Macmillan Coffee Morning. An amazing £185.66 was collected.

Visiting the sick and elderly - Y5/6 and Y2 sang for the residents of Stapleton House. They sang The Lambton Worm, The Blaydon Races and songs from Little Red Riding Hood and took them some sweets. The residents loved having them there. A lady who had once worked in a nursery said it brought back memories!
